Meaning, the France international is getting set to quit Atletico career this week, after spending five successful seasons at the club.
Since arriving from Real Sociedad in 2014, Griezmann has featured 257 times for Atletico, claiming both the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018.
Hopefully, Griezmann will be hoping to team up with Barcelona teammates on July 14, when the Catalans resume for pre-season training.
However, if they fail to strike a deal, Griezmann will head back to Atletico pre-season on the same day.
Barcelona are keen on sealing a deal for the 28-year-old forward as soon as possible as rather than delay ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
