Popular Nigerian socialite Bobrisky, had his birthday celebration party in Lekki Lagos shut down on 31st of August 2019 by the Nigerian police force.

While it appeared Bobrisky was nowhere to be found, The policemen shut down the venue of the birthday celebration.

Vanguard recall, that Otyunba Runsewe, the DG of Nigerian Culture and Tourism had in recently criticized what he termed has Bobrisky disgraceful act.

There was pandemonium at DJ Arafat’s funeral when some fans of the coupé-décalé master opened his coffin to check if he was really dead.

The fans who seemed fearless despite the presence of policemen, checked his tattoos to also be certain if Dj Arafat was the one being buried.

This sad action prompted police to fire teargas after an overnight funeral concert where tens of thousands paid tribute to one of West Africa’s most popular stars.

Ivorian superstar DJ Arafat died on August 2019 following a traffic accident that occurred after ramming his over-speeding motorcycle into a car being driven by a journalist in Abidjan.

The 33-year-old was often credited as being the originator of the coupé-décalé genre of music. His fans who could not believe the authenticity of the news besieged the polyclinic where he was admitted shortly after the accident wailed uncontrollably.

DJ Arafat was laid in state on Friday, 30 August 2019 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium in Abidjan.

About 30,000 people thronged to the stadium to pay their last respect to him during a vigil held for him in the Ivorian capital.

He would be laid to rest in his hometown in Ivory Coast on 31 August 2019.

DJ Arafat lost his life on 12 August 2019 in Abidjan after crashing his motorbike in an accident.

The 'Shuga Dady' crooner said on 31st December 2016 he went to church to pray about his music career and not long his first hit ‘Odo’ came in March.

“I went to church to pray that God should put me in right part either work or my passion and God showed me it's my passion,” He said

“I wasn't satisfied still after my first hit 'Odo', because Richie Mensah always told me that, your first hit isn’t your breakthrough but your second hit and more” He added.

Stonebwoy Should Not Do Away With The Winning Team - Prince Tsegah

Following the exit of Karl Gidiglo, Stonebwoy’s first manager, and then Beatz Dakay, the only last man standing now at BMG is Sidi Mohammed popularly known as Blakk Cedi.

Hitz FM’s Prince Tsegah is imploring BET award-winner Stonebwoy, not to part ways with Blakk Cedi. According to Don Tsegah, Stonebwoy should do whatever he can to make sure he and Blakk Cedi settle whichever disagreement they have between them like two responsible adults.

On Hitz FM, he said,

“I’m hoping and praying Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi won’t go their separate ways. I’ve said this and I would say it again, Stonebwoy, never do away with the winning team.”

He continued,

“Just look at how almost everyone admires how you and Blakk Cedi gel together? Please settle whichever differences you two have like two responsible adults and don’t go to the extent of parting ways.” Prince Tsegah said on his show

Popular Ghanaian actor/comedian, Kalybos has come out to clear the air on rumors circulating that he and popular Instagram stripper, Shugatiti were very intimate during the shooting of Tracey Boakye’s ‘BABY MAMA’ movie.

According to the 'Kalybos', all allegations are false.

Rumors spread during the shooting of that movie which suggested that actors in the movie were having sexual intercourse with actresses from the video.

This was made by a cast in the movie, Xandy Kamel and it was also rumored that during the shooting of the movie, Kalybos had his chance and banged Shugatiti and Rosemond Brown (Akuapem Poloo).

Transfer: Alexis Sanchez Joins Inter Milan On Loan

Alexis Sanchez has joined Inter Milan on a season-long loan from Manchester United, the clubs have announced on Thursday.

The Chile international, who joined Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018, has struggled to find his best form at Old Trafford.

“We can confirm that Alexis Sanchez joins Inter Milan on loan until 30 June 2020. We wish @Alexis_Sanchez the best of luck in Italy,” United wrote in a Twitter post.

Sanchez played in Italy with Udinese for three seasons, before moving to Barcelona in 2011.

He joined Arsenal in the summer of 2014.

He arrives at San Siro as a replacement for Ivan Perisic, who signed for Bayern Munich.

Homosexuality Wasn't Introduced By The Whites In Africa – Jidenna

Popular musician, Jidenna has indicated that homosexuality wasn’t introduced in Africa by the whites as many Africans claim.

According to him, homosexuality has been in Africa even before the whites came to Africa and also blamed this misinformation and homophobia for inadequate ideas about homosexuality which has a place in African history.

In a recent submission, Jidenna said;

“The whole idea that Black people, and our tradition to be Black… You hear these African leaders who are dressed in three-piece suits, got an iPhone, speaking in English and not their native tongue are saying, ‘it’s unafrican to be homosexual, it’s unafrican… we don’t have it. That was brought as a European import.’ It’s not true. It’s not true at all,” said Jidenna

You go to Uganda, the kingdom of Buganda at the time… Before Uganda, there was an openly gay king. If you go to Zimbabwe… the bushmen as they call them, you’ll see homosexual acts in the Cape paintings. If you go to different communities in Africa, there were different rights of passage where if a woman was with a woman, or a man was with a man, they were thought to be more powerful.

There was never a time where this didn’t exist. Or where it was just hands down that homosexuals were wrong. That’s not actually an African thing, which means it’s not a black thing.

Unsubstantiated claims by persons close to the BHIM Nation camp, state that, some misunderstanding that erupted during the ‘Shuga Tour’ by Stonebwoy, may have caused the separation between Stonebwoy and his manager – a situation which has seen the Manager flying back to Ghana while the artiste remains in Europe, after the conclusion of the ‘Shuga European’ Tour .

According to sources, Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s manager is being accused of allegedly mishandling funds of Stonebwoy. Stonebwoy is also allegedly unhappy Blakk Cedi is focused on promoting Kelvyn Boy.

The argument has, however, been raised that the ‘Tuff Seed’ hitmaker is an already established artiste hence it is important to give attention to the new artiste.

After Stonebwoy unfollowed Kelvyn Boy, his next post suggested the artiste he had helped is being ungrateful.

The incident has ignited rumors of Kelvyn Boy failing to acknowledge the push Stonebwoy has put in to grow his career. There are reports that Kelvyn Boy was never signed to BHIM Nation but rather, he was signed and managed by Blakk Arm Group, owned by Blakk Cedi.

Well, Blakk Cedi, manager of Stonebwoy have reacted to all this news. He sent a message to Prince Tsegah on Hitz FM that they are still together;

“I won’t tell a lie, there is a storm in the BhimNation Camp but we will overcome it, we have not parted ways, everything will be alright soon.”

Blakk Cedi again added that,

“Kelvyn Boy is also with us. Nobody has left anyone. Everything will be alright soon, Da Don.”
