Here Are Some Photos From DJ Arafat’s Vigil

DJ Arafat was laid in state on Friday, 30 August 2019 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium in Abidjan.

About 30,000 people thronged to the stadium to pay their last respect to him during a vigil held for him in the Ivorian capital.

He would be laid to rest in his hometown in Ivory Coast on 31 August 2019.

DJ Arafat lost his life on 12 August 2019 in Abidjan after crashing his motorbike in an accident.
