Shocking As Some Ivorian's Dig Up DJ Arafat's Corps For Verification

There was pandemonium at DJ Arafat’s funeral when some fans of the coupé-décalé master opened his coffin to check if he was really dead.

The fans who seemed fearless despite the presence of policemen, checked his tattoos to also be certain if Dj Arafat was the one being buried.

This sad action prompted police to fire teargas after an overnight funeral concert where tens of thousands paid tribute to one of West Africa’s most popular stars.

Ivorian superstar DJ Arafat died on August 2019 following a traffic accident that occurred after ramming his over-speeding motorcycle into a car being driven by a journalist in Abidjan.

The 33-year-old was often credited as being the originator of the coupé-décalé genre of music. His fans who could not believe the authenticity of the news besieged the polyclinic where he was admitted shortly after the accident wailed uncontrollably.
