Ghanaian Boxer Bukom Banku Wins First International Fight Against Hungarian Opponent
Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has knocked out his Hungarian opponent Ferenc Albert in Bradford, United Kingdom.
Braimah Kamoko delivered the ‘killer punch' in the 3rd round that emerged him the victory at St. George Hall in Bradford on Saturday night. The bout was put together by Monarch Events and Promotions.
After Kamoko’s last major fight in October 2017 which he lost to rival, Bastie Samir, at the Bukom Boxing Arena, he has been off the ring ever since.
But before his departure to the UK for his first-ever international fight, Bukom Banku had an interview with UTV. During the interview,
He said:
Tell me a Ghanaian champion who has never tasted defeat before. The likes of Azumah Nelson, Joshua Clottey, Ike Quartey, Joseph Agbeko and the rest.
I have learned a lot from my defeat to Samir Bastie and hopefully, I will show that on fight night in the UK. Look this is my first international pro fight and I intend to make a statement.
I am going to stop him (Albert Ferenc) in round 5. This fight won’t travel far. I tell you.
