‘PLEASE STOP!!! We Need Each Other’ – South African Musician, AKA Cries Out As Nigerians Retaliate

These past few days have seen some series of xenophobic attacks in South Africa. Young South Africans have been captured on videos and photos attacking businesses belonging to foreigners throughout South Africa.

Popular South African singer, AKA who was earlier lambasted by Burna Boy seems to be worried about the way with which things have turned out in the last few hours. Nigerians have also started attacking South African business in Nigeria.

AKA who showed how frustrated he was in a recent tweet urge both countries to stop these attacks stating that Africa needs everybody.

AKA’s tweet reads;

PLEASE!!! Can we STOP. We are going to make things worse for everybody on both sides. We need each other! 🇿🇦🇳🇬 ... please. Can we stop. We are supposed to be leading our people.
