The South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa Finally Addresses Xenophobic Attacks
The President of South Africa, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa has finally addressed the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
Many have condemned these attacks and all eyes were on the first gentleman of South Africa to finally condemn these attacks.
In a series of tweets, Mr. Ramaphosa indicated that his government is committed to providing the best atmosphere for any citizen of other African nations.
He called on all South Africans to respond to the call for no more violence and no more femicide.
He indicated that South Africa has a history of resisting violence and of working tirelessly towards a society that upholds and respects the human rights and dignity of our people. Let us build on that history. He indicated that this is a time to act – a time to be bold and decisive.
