Tiwa Savage Withdraws From Performing At The Upcoming DSTV Delicious Festival In Jo’Burg

Tiwa Savage in a recent tweet has indicated her decision to withdraw from performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg.

The event is scheduled to take place on the 21 September 2019 and amidst the recent xenophobic attacks, the musician has declined to perform at the event.

This comes after Burna Boy also stated categorically that he will never step foot in South Africa for any reason as he expressed his rage at the rate at with these xenophobic attacks are being carried out.

Tiwa Savage’s tweet;

I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.
